Do you work with my insurance company to replace my roof?

Yes, we work with all insurance companies for roof replacement. However, roof replacement through insurance can often be a tricky process. Not to worry, though, we have worked with every insurance company. Our experienced sales people can identify the specific damages your insurance is looking for to cover the repair or replacement. First, call us to schedule a free roof inspection. We will come out and walk the entire roof, examining the damage to see if you qualify for replacement. Specifically, insurance companies want us to look for wind or hail damage. Here, it is important to note that every claim you make against your insurance counts on your record. Additionally, too many claims can prevent you from changing companies down the road. This means that, in some cases, we will advise you not to file the roof damage claim so it doesn’t hurt your record.

Insurance companies prefer a company that is trustworthy and knowledgeable. That’s why Perimeter Roofing is great at getting your roof approved through insurance. In some cases, the claim may be considered borderline, but contracting with a great roofing company will push it through acceptance. It’s important that they feel confident in the roofing company that is representing you; that can make the difference between being approved or not.

Experienced Residential Roofing Technicians

We have the experience and expertise to provide a superior quality roof at an affordable price.

While it may be hard for you to identify issues with your roof, we have a team of trained professionals that will locate any issues and review your options. Often, residents forget about their roof and don’t get proper maintenance done; this can lead to costly repairs. Even slow leaks can cause big problems but are hard to detect until it’s too late. That is why we recommend scheduling annual inspections with us.

Common Residential Roofing Problems

Roof leaks
Roof leaks are common. Most commonly, you’ll see them along vents and fireplaces because the seal has either deteriorated or wasn’t properly installed. We can come tarp your roof quickly and repair your roof in a timely manner so you don’t have to worry anymore.

Wind Damage
Wind damage is underestimated by most homeowners. However, it is one of the main causes of roof leaks because it makes the  shingles slide or bend. This creates space for moisture or water to enter and damage your home’s interior. In fact, we’ve seen single shingles blown completely off a roof. If you ever find a shingle in your yard, you’ll want to call us out to inspect. It could be an easy repair now, but if you wait, it could cause damage internally that costs thousands. Most insurance companies will replace a roof with wind damage.

Hail Damage
Hail damage is caused when hail hits the shingles at an impact harder than the shingle is designed to experience. This can cause loss of granules or damaged shingles, resulting in roof leaks or weakening your roof overall so that it will not perform well against future storms.

Blistered Roof
Blistered roofs can be caused by hail damage. Additionally, poorly designed or manufactured shingles may be subject to blistering like the Atlas Chalet that was discontinued. In some cases, blistering can also be covered under insurance.

Discontinued Shingles
Discontinued shingles cause a problem for homeowners. In order to do a small repair, you need to make sure your new shingle matches your old shingle. Because we work with many different manufacturers, we can commonly find a match or a good replacement if the existing shingle has been discontinued. In some cases ,like the Atlas Chalet which is the most popular discontinued shingle, a repair can turn into a full roof replacement because there isn’t a good match. Some insurance companies will pay for this roof replacement.
